Your skipper on Nessie Hunter is George Edwards, who in 1987 recorded the greatest known depth of Loch Ness at 812 feet or 248 metres - a part of the loch now known as "Edwards Deep". In 1989 he became the skipper of the "world’s smallest aircraft carrier" when a giant hot air balloon, which whilst been used in the making of a television advertisement, had to make an emergency landing on Nessie Hunter.

Born and brought up in the Highlands of Scotland, George is an MCA qualified Boat Master, Royal Yachting Association Day Skipper and an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver. He is now the longest serving passenger boat skipper on Loch Ness! He has appeared on numerous television documentaries and is recognised as one of the foremost authorities on the Loch Ness Phenomenon.
